Terms of Service

1. Overview

Care Anywhere ("we", "us", or "our") provides on-location professional childcare services in Los Angeles, California and select destinations. By requesting services, joining our waitlist, submitting an application, or creating an account on our website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Booking, Cancellation & Payment

All care engagements are quoted individually and confirmed in writing by our concierge team. Reservations may require a non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before service commencement are billed at 100% of the quoted rate; 48–72 hours at 50%; earlier than 72 hours are refunded in full. Payment terms and rates for each engagement are provided in the booking confirmation.

3. Safety Protocols

Every Care Anywhere caregiver is background-checked, CPR & First Aid certified, TrustLine registered, and fully insured. We follow strict two-adult supervision policies for group care at events, ratio-based staffing by age group, and manual identity verification at check-in and pickup. Parents/guardians are required to complete a child safety profile (photos, allergies, medical alerts, soothing techniques) before care commences.

4. Identity Verification & Check-In

For every event, the parent/guardian must present government-issued photo identification and match the photos on file with our Care Anywhere kiosk. Children are only released to the same verified parent/guardian who checked them in, unless an alternate authorised pickup person has been documented in writing in advance and verified with matching photo ID.

5. Medical, Allergy & Emergency Care

Parents are responsible for disclosing all known allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and current medications for each child. In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact 911, the parent's designated emergency contact, and follow the medical release instructions provided at booking. Parents authorise Care Anywhere staff to seek emergency medical treatment where reasonably necessary.

6. Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Parents/guardians acknowledge that childcare, particularly at active events and travel destinations, involves inherent risks including minor injury. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, parents waive claims against Care Anywhere for such inherent risks, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Privacy & Data Handling

Sensitive documents (SSN, passport, government ID, Livescan) submitted by employment applicants are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and accessed only by authorised HR personnel for employment vetting and background checks in compliance with California labor laws. Parent and child photos are used solely for on-site identity verification and are retained only for the duration of the engagement plus 90 days.

8. Marketing Communications & Email List

By joining our waitlist, submitting an inquiry, creating a parent account, applying for employment, or registering through a QR-code invite, you consent to receive marketing communications from Care Anywhere. These may include service announcements, launch updates, event availability, promotional offers, referral incentives, and periodic newsletters — delivered via email and, where you provide a phone number, SMS.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, replying STOP to any SMS, or emailing concierge.careanywhereagency@gmail.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications required to fulfill your booking (e.g., check-in reminders, confirmation receipts).

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share aggregate, de-identified data with service providers for analytics.

9. Employment Applicant Terms

Applicants to Care Anywhere's caregiver programme consent to background checks, Livescan submission, reference verification, in-person interviews, and completion of un-skippable training modules. Sensitive personal information is used solely for vetting and, if hired, employment recordkeeping.

10. Intellectual Property

All Care Anywhere trademarks, content, training materials, and platform code are the property of Care Anywhere and may not be reproduced without written consent. User-submitted content (photos, notes) remains the property of the user but is licensed to Care Anywhere solely to provide the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Care Anywhere's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the engagement giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property or confidentiality claims.
